The restoring procedure had been updated. Each upgrade starting from now on including bbs1.02 will have its own restoring creation feature. What this means is that each time you do an upgrade at the end you are asked if you want to create a restore file for the upgrade. If you click "no" then your nanocom is updated successfully and it can be unplugged from the pc. If you click "yes" the restore creation procedure starts reading relevant data from your nanocom unit which has to stay connected to the PC while restoring file creation is running. When the file is ready you will be asked to save the created file on your local hard drive which can be saved anywhere with a name that has not more than 8 characters. The file that was saved has to be copied to the SD card in a folder called "NCRF" and when restore is needed just plug in the SD card and you can restore it manually from the menu or when system files are corrupted restore file will be requested automatically when unit is booted up. The SD card has to be present for the restore procedure to begin. Note: You cannot restore a file created earlier or later than your current version of firmware. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BBS1.01 Software Upgrade contains the following set of Firmware revisions: Kernel Firmware 1.06 Main Firmware 1.4d Graphic Controller Firmware 1.2 OBD Firmware 1.04 Global Upgrade Level: 20110810 FIXES: ACE bug fixed -Set TESTED option removed which caused the ECU to go in a virgin state.
