NCOM14:
Puma 2.4 & 2.2 Engine Management and Instrument Pack

The functionality of the Puma Defender engine management and Instrument pack is quite limited in what is actually available to read and change but we are working to add flashing of software to these ECUs. Functions include reading and clearing of faults, changing of settings such as Speed limit (not removal), Fuel tank volume and Tyre size are available. You also have the option to view Inputs which is live data being transmitted from the ECUs.

NCOM12 Defender Systems:

Wabco ABS system

Functions include Read and Clear faults, viewing Inputs and the check of some Outputs on the ECU. You can also use the Nanocom Evolution to bleed the primary and secondary hydraulic circuits.

Lucas 10AS Alarm

The 10AS alarm will read and clear triggered events, allow you to view various settings and data as well as make and save changes to the data. You have a choice of Inputs again to see live data and can also test certain outputs to make sure the alarm is working as it should. Finally you can also program the PLIP (not the key) to the ECU.

ALM

The ALM ECU is always housed in a Black enclosure. Besides performing the usual Alarm functions it also forms the intelligent immobilization link to the Puma Engine Management system, and optionally also performs Central Locking control functions. The ALM ECU replaced the previously fitted Lucas 10AS Alarm Module.
